Black Ops 3 NAT Type Strict & PS4 NAT Type 3 with pfSense Fixed!

It’s been a while since I’ve posted anything even remotely related to gaming, so I suppose this is a nice distraction!  Since Sony gave us COD blops 3 in the PS+ I’ve been enjoying the fun of running around shooting people and reliving the MW2 days.  However matchmaking has always been a problem with my PS4 reporting NAT Type 3 and blops 3 itself report NAT Type Strict.  I use pfSense at home and have spent weeks trying to fix this, and in the end once I knew what to do it was easily fixed!

3 Ethical Dilemma for Information Security Professionals

Having worked in Information Governance and Assurance for a few years now I have yet to come across any information regarding information security and ethics. Which to me is an area where more thought into the issues surrounding what we do as InfoSec Professionals and the ethical ramifications.

There are discussions surrounding disclosure, and how to disclose things like flaws and bugs to the appropriate authorities but little to dictate how we should do our work on a regular basis.

ISEB Business Analysis (BA) Revision Notes

I’ve just done my ISEB Business Analysis Foundation exam and passed, I had the excellent book from Debra Paul, Donald Yeates and James Cadle.  If you’re thinking of doing this exam I recommend you buy the book!  Don’t take my revision notes as your only source of information for passing your exam, I make no warranties or guarantees what so ever.

Why Does Lightening McQueen Stick His Tongue Out?

The little one is a huge fan of “Cars” the movie from Disney Pixar, and all the times I watch it I wonder why Lightening McQueen sticks his tongue out?

I’ve come up with a few opinions:

  1. It makes all the characters in the movie seem more human
  2. It makes the characters seem more dippy (even the cool ones)
  3. They’re showing off the physics engine of the CGI environment
